Christmas came early for some 11 lucky members of “Aling Puring,” Puregold’s loyalty program, and their family last 4 October when they get to fulfil their wishes to fly and travel for free.
Puregold in partnership with AirAsia, the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for nine consecutive years running, unveiled its second plane livery with 11 special guests and their families onboard AirAsia flight Z2 611 from Manila to Davao.
Puregold President Vincent Co said, “We are honoured to mark another milestone in our retail operation by launching our second plane livery featuring Puregold’s iconic logo in partnership with AirAsia, and what better way to celebrate this than by bringing some of our valued customers and loyal members of Aling Puring who are all flying for the first time for a much-deserved vacation with their family.”
Puregold has its name wrapped on two AirAsia aircraft. The first Puregold livery aircraft was officially presented to the public in May with a water cannon salute upon its arrival at Clark International Airport in a formal ceremony led by Clark International Airport Corporation President Alexander Cauguiran, Puregold President Vincent Co, Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador and Philippines AirAsia Head of Ancillary Business Karlo Sanchez.
For his part, Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said, “We are extremely excited to celebrate our partnership with a homegrown brand. AirAsia started with a dream – to make flying affordable for everyone -- and it brings us so much pride that we are able to fulfil the dreams of our special guests who are all flying for the first time.”
Aside from free flights, Aling Puring guests and their families also received free hotel accommodation and tour around Davao City.
