Stay in shape with Festive Walk Iloilo’s ‘Fit & Festive’ outdoor activities!

Stay active and achieve a healthier body and mind with the help of outdoor activities at ‘Fit & Festive’ — a wellness event happening at Festive Walk Iloilo, until May 31!

Developing a good physical fitness routine will have countless benefits for the body which will make it look and feel better inside out. This summer, Festive Walk Iloilo wants to inspire people to get up and keep active by providing a lineup of physical activities for everyone to stay in shape in a fun and safe environment. 

Feel the flow of energy and find inner peace in the yoga festival Yes to Yoga happening at 3F Sky Garden on May 22, and 29 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Participants can meet and strengthen their practice with fellow yogis too! 



Show off some dance moves to the beat of summer jams in Dance to the Beat. This Zumba dance session will have guests sweating it out and burning calories! Join the high-adrenaline event at Park Square on May 15, 22, and 29 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. 

Join the growing community of Rope Flow enthusiasts in Iloilo in Flow & Glow. Rope Flow is a workout that trains the opposite sides of the body to be well-coordinated. It’s a fun way to do cardio, with minimal impact on the joints. Try it on May 16, 23, and 30 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Park Square. 

For those who couldn’t leave their homes, tune in to Festive Walk Iloilo’s Facebook page and work out from home, with exciting online fitness tutorials with Fit at Home. Watch the virtual sessions this coming May 21 and may 28 at 7:00pm.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible. In this latest scheme, perpetrators created gambling apps while falsely claiming to be accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
