DepEd TV officially airs on GMA’s digital channel

  DepEd TV, the Department of Education’s (DepEd) platform for multimedia classes, officially airs new episodes on GMA’s digital channel last Monday, May 24. Students staying safe at home can watch educational programs every Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. via  Channel 7  on  GMA Affordabox  and  GMA Now  as well as on other digital TV receivers.    GMA Network, as it helps make education more accessible to Filipino learners in the new normal, provides this Kapuso digital channel for free  in cooperation with Dep Ed on its implementation of its blended learning program. PNP recognizes GCash efforts in fighting cybercrimes

  GCash and its executives were recognized by the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) during the ACG’s 8th Founding Anniversary, making it the only fintech company in the country to do so. Teachers, parents, students expand digital responsibility learning

  Through its community development partners, Globe was able to reach out to educate 5,635 teachers, parents, and students from 10 cities in Metro Manila and 23 provinces nationwide on the responsible use of technology since the start of the pandemic.   The initiative is part of Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP) which seeks to heighten awareness on digital citizenship and cybersafety. It contains modules on Digital Insight, Digital Impact, Digital Ambition and Digital Discernment, and a Parent Module that Globe community ambassadors shared through a total of 155 DTP online sessions.   Globe continues to conduct training of community ambassadors with community development partners, to ensure that the education sector benefits from the online modules.
