GMA Regional TV partners with the City Government of Tarlac to broadcast the “Kaisa Festival TV Special” this Sunday, January 31, on its various regional channels across the Philippines.
“Kaisa Festival” is a week-long festival held every January to commemorate Tarlac’s rich history and culture. With the restrictions and health protocols being implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Government of Tarlac will mount this year’s Kaisa Festival as a one-hour TV special.
In partnership with GMA Regional TV, the “Kaisa Festival TV Special” will air on the regional channels via GMA Dagupan, GMA Ilocos, GMA Bicol, GMA Cebu, GMA Iloilo, GMA Bacolod, GMA Davao, GMA CdeO, and GMA GenSan—enabling Tarlaqueños to celebrate from the comforts of their homes and, at the same time, allowing more Filipinos all over the country to appreciate the said local festival.
“While the current pandemic has restricted us from staging mass gatherings and other activities such as festivals, this has not deterred GMA Regional TV from our commitment to bring important occasions closer to our Kapuso in the regions,” shared GMA Regional TV and Synergy First Vice President and Head Oliver Victor Amoroso. “We are honored to partner with the City Government of Tarlac to broadcast the ‘Kaisa Festival TV Special’ via our regional stations strategically located across the Philippines. We look forward to giving our local viewers more reasons to celebrate our history and culture in this time of pandemic,” he added.
The “Kaisa Festival TV Special” aims to recognize the Tarlaqueños' deep desire to unite in creating a progressive and peaceful future for all. It will highlight the Tarlaqueños wisdom and talent through the previous year’s various festival activities that provided entertainment to the public.
Don’t miss the “Kaisa Festival TV Special” this Sunday, January 31, 9 a.m. via GMA Dagupan, GMA Ilocos, GMA Bicol, GMA Cebu, GMA Iloilo, GMA Bacolod, GMA Davao, GMA CdeO, and GMA GenSan stations and its local channels.
