IBEX Global, one of the biggest business process outsourcing companies in the world, joins the group of pioneering BPOs driving financial inclusion in the Philippines through its recent partnership with GCash, an internationally-acclaimed micro payment service.
The partnership allows web-based disbursement of salaries, incentives, and allowances to IBEX employees in real time, 24/7, using GCash PowerPay+.
“GCash has already cemented its foundation in the Philippines and Globe is bullish in revolutionizing companies to go cashless by maximizing the technological resources and solutions that we have like GCash PowerPay+. With this partnership, IBEX Global will not only have the advantage of a seamless web-based disbursement platform but will also be part of a growing community that drives financial inclusion in the country,” said Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO. Globe, together with Ant Financial and Ayala Corporation, owns Mynt, a financial technology firm which operates GCash.

IBEX Global, headquartered in Washington, DC., offers an integrated suite of services that supports an expansive array of customer facing solutions. It delivers services and solutions to five countries across 18 call centers in the world and employs over 7,000 customer service professionals.
By partnering with GCash, IBEX Global can now do away with the current system of manual exchange for its employees’ allowances and benefits which is not only tedious but also difficult to audit.
With GCash PowerPay+, corporate partners can now easily disburse funds anytime and anywhere whenever there is internet access. Employees can then receive funds through their GCash account and are notified in real-time.
Aside from this, each employee will be issued a GCash Mastercard that functions as a debit card and can be used to access a world of mobile payments. They may also use the GCash App to send and receive money, pay bills, buy cinema tickets, and purchase goods and services, among other things. The GCash App also monitors fund balance which employees can view in real time.
