For the first time ever, Sun has brought together Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli, in its biggest campaign yet introducing its newest and widest LTE network.
Sun features the three celebrities in its latest commercial as they usher in a better and improved mobile experience for all Sun subscribers across the country through LTE or Long Term Evolution, the international standard for high-speed mobile communication.
With LTE, Sun now makes it possible for subscribers to enjoy online activities at blazing speeds 24/7 – from surfing online, streaming videos and music, playing games, and downloading files on-the-go.
Sun subscribers can also expect Maja, Matteo, and Vic to soon introduce new best-value data offers that allow Filipinos to make the most of the Sun LTE experience as they stay in touch with loved ones, enjoy their dose of mobile entertainment, or benefit from online services 24/7.
Upgrade to a FREE Sun LTE-ready SIM without changing your number
Sun subscribers can start their Sun LTE experience by upgrading to a Sun LTE-ready SIM and an LTE-capable device.
Sun Prepaid subscribers may now head to any Sun Shop nationwide to swap their old Sun Prepaid 3G SIM with a FREE LTE-ready SIM – without having to change their existing Sun number.
On the other hand, Sun shall facilitate the LTE upgrade of its postpaid subscribers within the month.
Unlocking greater value for Sun subscribers
“As a brand that caters to practical Filipinos and gives them best-value choices, Sun’s upgrade to LTE means unlocking even greater value for our beloved subscribers, who can now enjoy our value-packed promos infused with data to suit their needs,” said Miriam Choa, Prepaid Business Head.
Sun’s LTE upgrade is part of PLDT Group’s ongoing network improvement efforts, which includes the integration of the Smart and Sun mobile networks to provide subscribers of both brands. As a result, Sun subscribers can now enjoy wider and more reliable coverage for calls, texts, and mobile data.
The PLDT Group has finished its LTE rollout in Metro Davao, Metro Cebu, Boracay, and Rizal, while it is currently ongoing in Metro Manila.
