Sky rewards Mayweather-Mcgregor PPV subscribers with Kapamilya Thank You points

As heartfelt gratitude to all those who will subscribe to the much-awaited Mayweather vs McGregor match on SKY Pay-Per-View (PPV) Sports, a viewer gets 100 points on Kapamilya Thank You, ABS-CBN’s newly launched customer loyalty program.

The earned points may be availed as SKY billing rebates, a gift certificate at the ABS-CBN store, or as a donation to the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Tulong Center, among others. 

The year’s biggest fight will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas commercial-free, and in high definition on August 27, 9 AM.


Redemption of the rewards may be done only if subscribers have registered at the Kapamilya Thank You program’s website: thankyou.abs-cbn.com.

The Mayweather-McGregor fight on SKY Sports PPV offer is available to subscribers of ONE SKY, SKYcable, Destiny Cable, SKYdirect, and SKYbroadband via SKY on Demand for only P950.

Subscribers can catch the fight by calling 418-0000 or their local SKY office, texting BOXINGPPV to 23662 or by visiting www.mysky.com.ph/boxingppv. SKYdirect postpaid subscribers on the other hand can text SKY to 23668.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
