SM Cares brings Bears of Joy to Oton and Dungon kids

SM City Iloilo brought smiles to the kids of Oton Elementary School and Day Care Centers of Brgy. Dungon I and 2 as it recently distributed its Bears of Joy.   
An annual project of SM Cares, mall shoppers purchase a pair of bears during the Christmas season for PhP200 - wherein they got to keep one and the other will be donated to a selected beneficiary.

The distribution was led by SM’s PR Manager Troy Camarista and Marketing Officer Lee Pedregosa together with the One Meal.
One Meal, represented by its officers Eugenia Bionat, Pinky Rojo, Chona Layson-Bondoc, Baby Porras, Bombing Co and Jun Guevarra, works with the mall in identifying the beneficiaries for specific projects.
Jollibee provided food and entertainment to the kids during the simple turn-over ceremony.
Through the generosity of its shoppers and partner organizations, the annual SM Cares Bears of Joy project has become a reflection of sharing and love - one sending warm hugs to another in need.
