Seda Atria Hotel introduces Chef Albert Ledesma as its new Sous Chef

Showcasing more than 15 new items on the menu that feature only the freshest and best ingredients, Misto and Straight Up Bar at SEDA Atria, are set to please the palate with mouth-watering dishes flavors starting March 1, 2017

And now that Chef Albert Ledesma is in charge of the kitchen, foodies will delight in the refreshing new flavors and tantalizing dishes at SEDA Atria.

Chef Albert decided to share the best of his culinary talents to Misto and Straight Up. He was declared the champion of Unilever's Chefmanship 2016 Elite Chef Challenge and won several international awards. 

“Cooking has always been my passion and I am glad that Seda Atria has given me the opportunity to grow as a chef,” says Chef Albert who has worked at various hotels and restaurants in the Middle East before recently returning to his native Jaro District here in Iloilo City.

His ten years of training as a chef preparing dishes for discerning palates, his experience of concocting Italian dishes from working in fine-dining Italian restaurants abroad, made him a perfect candidate for the hotel's Sous Chef.

According to Seda Atria Hotel Manager Joseph Del Rosario, the quality of the chefs and restaurant kitchen crew and staff are in keeping with their service-oriented culture. 

Misto (“mixed” in Italian) that sits 80 people offers a buffet breakfast and a la carte dining all-day wile Straight Up Bar offers a place for chill outs with relaxing ambiance and a stunning view of the city’s skyline. 

The dining experience is made complete with the relaxing interior design with accent pieces by renowned designer Kenneth Cobonpue and photographs by industrialist-photographer Jaime Zobel de Ayala.

Guests at Straight Up can relax to the soothing tunes of an acoustic band every Friday and great hits of their guest DJ every Saturday.

With restaurants sprouting like mushrooms everywhere, discerning foodies need not to look far for that authentic dining experience at Seda Atria’s restaurant Misto and roof deck bar Straight Up.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
