HMR to auction construction and heavy equipment on June 30

Over 120 units of construction and heavy equipment is up for bidding this June 30, during HMR Auctions’ public auction event.  

HMR Auctions has partnered with Sunwest Group Holding Company Inc. to showcase a wide selection of brands to contractors, traders, and the general public. The event will be held from 10 AM onwards at the Magna Industrial Park, Diversion Road, Barangay 41, Botong, Legazpi City, Albay.


“We are pleased to present HMR’s biggest auction event of the year. You will be able to buy quality units for only a fraction of the retail price. Plus, we make sure that the units are priced to sell, ready to work, fully refurbished, and has genuine parts,” said Mr. Samuel Powell, CEO, HMR Auctions.


Hydraulic excavators, loaders, graders, forklifts, bulldozers, and many other construction and heavy equipment will be auctioned.

There will be a viewing period to be held on June 18 – 19, 2018, from 8 AM to 6 PM daily. “Interested buyers can inspect and view all the equipment to be auctioned. Our friendly staff are also open to explain to them the live auction bidding process,” said Mr. Powell.

For all logistic requirements of bidders, HMR Auctions has also partnered with Antrak Logistics.  They can provide hassle-free national and international transport services for the units.

The first 30 registered bidders will be given a free round-trip ticket to and from Legazpi City.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
