Bet Ng Bayan Visayas Semi-Finals this December 14

GMA’s biggest reality talent show Bet Ng Bayan has started the second phase of it’s search with the semi-final roundslast Sunday featuring talents from Luzon. This Sunday,December 14, it’s our ‘kababayans’ from Visayas’ turn.

After two months of the regional showdowns in different provinces around the Philippines, the competition has trimmed down the thousands of auditionees and participants to the top 8 in each of the three categories namely “Bet sa Kantahan” (singing), “Bet sa Sayawan” (dancing), and “Bet sa Kakaibang Talento” (unique).

Being a talent search that focuses on the grassroot levels of the cities and provinces around the country, the semi-finalists will battle it out with their fellow hopefuls based on the four major areas of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Mega Manila.

Bet Ng Bayan Visayas Semi-Final

Place your “bets” on Visayas’ semi-final round this Sunday on GMA after Kauspo Mo Jessica Soho at 9:40pm - 10:40pm! Catch “Bet Sa Kantahan” Hannah Precillas from Bohol and Alma Sumagaysay from Iloilo; “Bet Sa Sayawan" Capa DS from Bacolod City and Don Juan from Cebu City; “Bet Sa Kakaibang Talento" Master of Pain from Iloilo City and Karinyoso Boys from Dumaguete City.

Bet Ng Bayan is hosted by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velsaquez-Alcasid and Primetime Prince Alden Richards. Ms. Lucy Torres-Gomez will be a guest judge for the “Bet ng Visayas" semi-final. Main shows are telecast 9:40pm on Sundays and 10:05pm for the weeknight updates.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible.
