SM City Iloilo, Bacolod and Puerto Princesa to launch grand Christmas centerpieces

SM City Iloilo, SM City Bacolod and SM City Puerto Princesa is set to lead the grand Christmas launch in the respective malls this November.

Witness the official lighting of the 50ft Paris-inspired centerpiece of SM City Iloilo
on November 10, 6pm at the Northpoint Event Center.
Christmas comes but once a year, celebrate with some holiday cheer, as we say “Eiffel in Love This Christmas at SM City Iloilo. A 50ft Christmas tree will be unveiled at the Northpoint on November 10. The Paris-inspired centerpiece adorned with colorful decoration and lights will be the highlight of the event. Plus, a live performance of Jason Fernandez, former frontman of Rivermaya will give that extra kick of excitement.



It's a Circus Crush Christmas in the City of Smiles on November 11! This year's 30-foot tree incorporates a lot of fun and color with circus decor. Before the grand tree lighting, enjoy a circus-themed show with performances inspired by the Greatest Showman. Be on the lookout for "great" musical surprises on the days leading up to the launch!

SM Puerto Princesa’s Circus Carnival theme will be highlighted by a 20ft centerpiece at the Lower ground level atrium on November 9.With a Great Gatsby-inspired program, the event will give more reasons to be merry this holiday season.

Alongside with songs and dances, the launch will signal the start of the holiday season. The most beautiful time of the year indeed, as Christmas is everything you can imagine—festive, bright and magical. But more than the holiday sparkles, it’s also a chance to share cherished moments and show our love to those who need it most.

The annual Bears of Joy campaign invites once more mallgoers to be part of the annual Bears of Joy campaign. For every P200, shoppers get 2 bears wherein they get to bring home one and donate the other Which will be gifted to charities along with personal notes from shoppers, making many children's Christmas a memorable one.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible.
