Mang Inasal opens milestone 500th store in Iloilo


Mang Inasal, the leading Pinoy fast-food restaurant that serves the 2-in-1 sa Laki, Nuot sa Ihaw Sarap Chicken Inasal, has opened its 500th store in Iloilo – the place where Sarap ng Kaing Pinoy started. 

The restaurant opened on April 30, graced by some key people who have helped Mang Inasal’s journey to 500. The first and 500th customers who came to witness the unveiling of the milestone store were surprised with Mang Inasal coupons.

 

Widely promoting itself as the champion of Sarap ng Kaing Pinoy, Mang Inasal has provided authentic Pinoy dining experience that brings out everyone’s unique eating quirks. From its superior tasting local comfort food, to its popular unlimited rice offer and condiments that include the much-requested chicken oil, Mang Inasal has truly endeared itself to the hearts and palates of Pinoy diners.


Located at Iloilo City Center, Benigno Aquino Avenue (formerly West Diversion Road), Mandurriao, Iloilo, the restaurant seeks to let more people enjoy Mang Inasal’s offerings of traditional Filipino cuisine with a provincial, homey grillery ambience. 

The milestone store is set apart by a new look that embraces unique Filipino aesthetics and highlights modern Pinoy artistry. The high ceiling, patterned floor tiles, and cabinet-inspired counters are among the features of the store that contribute to this ambience, making customers feel more comfortable and at home. The Pintados-inspired walls and the colorful tables and benches also lend festivity to the store. 

The fast-food store also has a grill positioned at the entrance to attract passers-by with the smoke and aroma of grilled food. It also has a special counter where the So Creamy, So Sarap Pinoy Halo Halo is prepared.
 

Adding to the fresh store design are the new set of crew uniforms which was created by renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel. Drawing inspiration from the fiesta atmosphere, on Mang Inasal’s “familiar and Filipino” brand image, and on his many trips to Mang Inasal stores, Laurel’s uniform design features a blue, denim-like base accentuated by strips of colors that convey a happy vibe. 

As Mang Inasal unveils its 500th store, more Filipinos are invited to have their fill of the 2-in-1 sa Laki, Nuot sa Ihaw Sarap Chicken Inasal and the So Creamy, So Sarap Pinoy Halo-Halo.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
