As part of its tradition of celebrating the Christmas season, Property Company of Friends, Inc. (PROFRiends) Iloilo condcted its annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in Guimbal, Iloilo on November 18.

that they can use in teaching the children with special needs.

For the past two years, PROFriends Iloilo spends its early Christmas in different institutions. These include the SOS Children’s Village in Zarraga in 2014 and Asilo de Molo in 2015. This year, they have chosen the students with special needs of Guimbal SPED Program to share love and joy this Christmas. The activity was highlighted with a magic show, fun games and the turning-over of corporate donations to the beneficiaries.

Guimbal SPED Program is intended for children with special needs. The said program helps the students learn how to survive daily life by teaching them the basics aside from the classroom lessons. PROFriends Iloilo Brand Manager Prince Celo is thankful to the students and people behind Guimbal District Special Education Program for accepting them whole-heartedly and for giving them the chance to touch their lives.

Likewise, PROFriends Iloilo General Manager Dina Estocado expressed her heartfelt thanks to the institution for allowing them to spend their early Christmas with the children with special needs. She also noted that every child is special as they are gifts from God. Thus, it is just right that they should be given equal love, attention and affection always.

Also present during the said program were the parents of the children with special needs who also enjoyed the activities prepared by PROFriends Iloilo and were all thankful for the opportunity and attention given to their children.

In exchange of the of the gifts given by PROFriends Iloilo, the students of Guimbal District Special Education Program gave out rosaries and bracelets made of beads that they personally made as their sign of gratitude. These beads were given to the media partners of PROFriends Iloilo as Christmas presents.
