SM City Iloilo honors WCOPA winners

SM Supermalls have been one of the forefronts in recognizing talented Filipinos who excel in their own fields of interest. For years now, we have given awards and recognition to various individuals ranging from the sciences, visual and performance arts, music and a whole lot more. 
This time of the year, the recent World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2016 last July 8-17 at Long Beach, California. Fourteen(14) young performers have given recognition to the Philippines and most of all, to Iloilo. 

Words are not enough to recognize and acknowledge the pride and honour they have brought not only to the Ilonggos but for the Filipinos as well. It is in this concept that SM City Iloilo wish to recognize their achievement. 

The IloilO City Government headed by Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog gave due recognition to these outstanding Ilonggos through an awarding ceremony last August 26, 2016, 4PM at The Northpoint. 

The WCOPA awardees are: DAPHNE GUPETEO JONTARCIEGO, ANTONIO AMBONG TRINIDAD, JR., MELKY BARRERA ARBOLEDA, SHARIE FAITH QUINTILLA BIÑAS, STEPHANY JOY DE LA CRUZ MIJARES, MICHELLE PEÑAROYO LUNA, YVES ADRIAN GARDE GABASA, JOAN MARIE SUGANOB JARLOC, ELMAR JAN LAGUMBAY BOLAÑO, DOS PARES(RUTH LYNN GRACE GUILLAMAS LAZARO AND ELISEO JUANILLO MENDIOLA, JR., MICO HENDRIX CABILAN CHUA, JARIZ MAYVE MACULADA DE LA GENTE AND NORELLE GRACE VILLANUEVA FERNANDEZ.
