Kapuso Mall Show with Alden Richards attracts record crowd in Iloilo

Ilonggos waited and lined up as early as 7AM for the Kapuso Mall Show with Alden Richards on Nov. 6, 2015. Fans as far as Aklan, Antique, Capiz and Negros Occidental joined Iloilo folks at Robinson's Place Iloilo's Paseo de Iloilo (portion of De Leon street between the mall and parking building) for the Pambansang Bae's mini-concert after gaining superstardom status as part of the phenomenal AlDub.

"Don't underestimate the power of AlDub Nation"

The scheduled 5PM show started past 8pm as the PAL flight from Manila was delayed for 2 hours. But Ilonggos patiently waited for Alden Richards and it was all worth it. The show had two venues - the main venue was along Paseo de Iloilo, which was closed for the whole day and inside the activity of the mall with just a live feed on a wide screen projector of the happenings outside (at Paseo).

Police estimate the crowd to be at 50,000 and it is a record breaking feat in Iloilo City and for the hottest Kapuso Star of the moment. With sky-high ratings for Eat Bulaga where AlDub can be seen from Monday-Saturday and record breaking tweets in Twitter, 2015 is the Year of AlDub.

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
