BLACKPINK sends love to their fans and thanks Globe for bringing them closer to Filipino fans

 

Globe Kmmunity made it possible for BLACKPINK to be connected with their fans with the “Show You Like That: An Exclusive Show for the Ultimate Globe Fans” event last June 18.

 

The one and only OT4, JENNIE, JISOO, ROSÉ AND LISA, delivered their messages to their loyal BLACKPINK fans in the Philippines and thanked Globe for the wonderful opportunity to be reunited with their fans despite the distance.



“In the video you guys said that “We’ll always stay forever with BLACKPINK,” and I want you guys to know that we’re always thinking of you and counting the days until we can come see you again. So let’s all cheer up and get through this together. I miss you guys so much,” said JENNIE.

 

“Thanks to Globe for making this possible so that we can meet our fans in the Philippines. It made me realize how much our fans miss us and how much we miss them,” said JISOO.

 

“Thank you for the lovely gifts, the wonderful cover videos, and the sweetest messages. All these made me want to see our fans even more. I had such a great time, and thanks to Globe for organizing this event for us,” said ROSÉ.

 

“I’m so sad that [this event is] over but glad that we were able to do so many things together. Thank you all and I miss you so much,” said LISA.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible. In this latest scheme, perpetrators created gambling apps while falsely claiming to be accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
