Chevrolet Iloilo inaugurates new showroom in Mandurriao

The wait is over! Chevrolet Iloilo finally inaugurated its brand new showroom along Diversion Road in Taft North Mandurriao.
"Chevrolet Iloilo's new showroom (and service center) is our way of thanking the Ilonggos for their overwhelming support" opens up Jan Andrew Po during the media launch. Po is the President of Grandcars Inc., the official dealer of Chevrolet in Iloilo
Inaugurated last October 8, 2016, Chevrolet Iloilo has one of the biggest showrooms in the auto industry in Iloilo City.

Leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony that formally opened the showroom were Chevrolet Philippines president and managing director Atty. Albert Arcilla, Chevrolet Philippines National Sales Services Leah Avante, Chevrolet Philippines National After-Sales Services Director Roselyn Dimalanta, and Grandcars, Inc. president Jan Andrew Po.
The city government of Iloilo was in full support as Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and Vice Mayor Joe Espinosa III, among others joined in the ceremony.
The new showroom reflects Chevrolet's standing in the auto industry – a global brand with more than 100 years experience in delivering quality and cost-effective products.
It has spacious modern interiors for its cars display as well customers lounges where clients can relax while their needs are being attended.

Kids can play at the kiddie corner while their parents choose the perfect Chevy for the whole family.
Combining design and ownership experience on its car models, Chevrolet continues to provide its consumers options for every life stage and every purpose.
A weekend-long Open House Fair was held last Oct 8-9 at Chevrolet Iloilo to formally welcome the Ilonggos in its grand opening. 
It was also a perfect fun weekend highlighted by games, magic shows, face painting, overflowing food and mini concert - enjoyed by the whole family.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible. In this latest scheme, perpetrators created gambling apps while falsely claiming to be accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). These apps deceive users with a verification process, redirecting them to a fake GCash website or payment page to top up betting credits.
