Krispy Kreme opens Nov. 30 at SM City Iloilo

As part of our mission to bring #JoyInABox to the 7,100 islands, we’re opening our 59th store in the Philippines at SM City Iloilo this November 30. It will be the 4th store in the Visayas and is a "Hotlight Store" which means that once you see the hotlight sign come on, you’re sure that you will get that melt in your mouth doughnut freshness that Krispy Kreme is known for!


 To help spread the joy, we have an exciting opening promo!

We will carry the tradition of the Golden Ticket promo of giving our guests a chance to enjoy a 1-year supply of Original Glazed doughnuts and 8 oz. Signature Coffee, on us! Here’s how it works:

  • Golden Ticket: The first person in line on opening day gets a certificate that entitles him/her to a one-year supply of doughnuts and coffee. 
  • Silver Ticket: The second person in line on opening day gets a certificate that entitles him/her to six months supply of doughnuts and coffee.
  • Bronze Ticket: The third person in line on opening day gets a certificate that entitles him/her to three months supply of doughnuts and coffee.
  • Fourth to 100th Customer: The 4th to 100th customer will win one-month supply of Original Glazed Doughnuts

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams. Additionally, some influencers may have unknowingly promoted these gaming apps without being aware of their fraudulent nature. GCash is now cautioning its users to be extremely careful when accessing online gambling sites and apps, and to avoid them altogether if possible. In this latest scheme, perpetrators created gambling apps while falsely claiming to be accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). These apps deceive users with a verification process, redirecting them to a fake GCash website or payment page to top up betting credits.
