Globe’s telehealth service providers KonsultaMD and HealthNow saw strong growth in 2021, boosting their respective user base as more Filipinos adopt digital solutions for their medical needs. “Our two digital health offers are also doing very well. KonsultaMD and HealthNow continue to fill the growing demand for access to healthcare during the pandemic,” said Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu at Globe’s FY/Q4 2021 media briefing. “There is a lot of promise on the healthcare side of the business,” he said. For one, KonsultaMD posted 140% revenue growth and now has over 1 million members, a rise in user base that represents a 168% increase year-on-year in 50,000 retail outlets nationwide. The subscription-based service, which offers easily accessible 24/7 virtual medical consultations, is being groomed by its parent company, Globe’s 917Ventures, to follow the footsteps of sister start-up GCash, the country’s leading e-wallet platform. To further expand its reach, KonsultaMD
