SM Foundation Inc.(SMFI) launched its 212th batch of Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan(KSK)Farmers Training Program last July 24, 2019 in the Municipality of Jordan in Guimaras Province. Farmers from the host venue, Brgy. Balcon Maravilla headed by Punong Barangay Edgar Ecullada, and neighboring barangays  attended the launch with officials of the different partner agencies such as the Department of Social and Welfare Development Region 6(DSWD 6) headed by Director Evelyn Macapobre, SM City Iloilo was represented by Asst. Mall Manager Jasmine Lynn Maquiling together with Public Relations Manager Troy Camarista. Property giant Megaworld is expanding its Megaworld Lifestyle Malls footprint outside of Metro Manila, with the opening of eight (8) new malls and commercial centers in key regional centers across the country in the next three years until 2022. The company is offering around 200,000 square meters of fresh retail inventory that will open until 2022 in Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, Boracay, Cavite, and Pampanga. The National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) together with the weavers from Aklan and Antique provinces are in Thailand and Czech Republic promoting the country's age-old tradition of pie's weaving and embroidery.  National Museum's travelling exhibition, Pirla-Seda Pineapple and Silk Cloths from the Tropics, opened on July 4 at the Museum Siam in Bangkok, Thailand and July 15 at the National Museum-Naprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures in Prague, Czech Republic.  The program in Bangkok is in partnership with the Office of Congresswoman Loren Legarda and the National Discovery Museum Institute and will run until July 27, 2019 while the one in Prague is in partnership with the Office of Congresswoman Legarda and the Philippine Embassy in Prague and will run until August 12, 2019.
