SM, BDO salute OFWs with Pamaskong Handog para sa Global Pinoy at SM City Iloilo

SM Supermalls and Banco De Oro (BDO) held the "biggest OFW Christmas Party" last December 9, 2017 at 10 SM malls across the country. Now on its 6th year, the Pamaskong Handog para sa Global Pinoy is a  grand homecoming celebration is set to treat overseas Filipino workers and their families.
The SM Global Pinoy program is an initiative that provides accessible and convenient services specially designed for OFWs and their families. Apart from exclusive services, perks and privileges inside SM Global Pinoy Centers, the sites also offer remittance pick-up and foreign exchange, free internet access, hot and cold beverages, and mobile phone charging in 39 SM malls nationwide.
As a Christmas treat for members last December 9, OFWs and their families had 10% off on all regular priced items with a minimum of P2,000 single receipt purchase at The SM Store OFW Sale. Global Pinoy families can also get a chance to win prizes from BDO, Grand Videoke, Starmobile, The Body Shop, and Toy Kingdom. Also not to be missed are the giveaways and gift certificates from SM Storyland, SM Sky Ranch, Dickies, Jollibee, and Max’s Restaurant, and special movie passes from SM Cinemas.
The homecoming festivities showcased some of the country’s brightest celebrities with Daniel Matsunaga  as special guest at SM City Iloilo. The Japanese Brazilian model, actor, professional footballer, host, and businessman, delighted the Ilonggos with songs, fun and games plus lots of selfies with adoring fans. 
Other SM Malls that joined in the celebration include SM City Cabanatuan, SM City Pampanga,SM City San Jose del Monte, SM City Manila, SM City Dasmariñas,  SM City Lucena, SM City Naga,  SM Seaside City Cebu and  SM City General Santos.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing

A recent investigation by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the leading mobile wallet GCash, has led to the discovery of certain gambling sites and apps which were used for account takeovers in the recent surge of phishing scams.
