Kris Bernal, Atom Araullo and Solenn Heussaff get their Walk of Fame stars


Kapuso celebrities were among the media personalities who were honored yesterday, November 21 at the Eastwood’s Walk of Fame.

This year, the three honorees from GMA Network were Kris Bernal, Atom Araullo and Solenn Heussaff. 

GMA Artist Center prime star Kris Bernal, who plays a dual role in the top-rating afternoon program Impostora, was inducted in the TV category.


In her Instagram account, she expressed her appreciation to all the people behind the Walk of Fame event. "God heard me and He responded. Another answered prayer. This is the 12th year of the Walk of Fame as propagated by Kuya Germs. Thank you to the Walk of Fame members. I feel important and more inspired to do more great things in showbiz. I am greatly honored to be part of it. Thank you GMA Network and GMA Artist Center for making this dream a reality. I dedicate this to my family, friends, and supporters."
Well-loved broadcast journalist and documentarist Atom Araullo was also inducted as part of the Walk of Fame, joining other news and public affairs personalities. As the newest addition to GMA Network’s News and Public Affairs group, Atom will be part of the top-notch and multi-awarded documentary program I-Witness.

"The award itself is a big honor and I'm very happy to be part of an industrious group of awardees. It gives you a little bit of extra energy but we have a lot of work to do," he shared.

Multi-talented artist Solenn Heussaff was also one of the celebrity inductees for the TV category. Recently, she played two important roles in GMA primetime programs Encantadia andAlyas Robin Hood Book 2. She’s currently hosting the lifestyle program Taste Buddies on GMA News TV.

After receiving the recognition, Solenn looks forward to doing more of what she loves. “So honored to have my own star in the Walk of Fame! Thank you so much to all the people behind this! I’m inspired to work harder.”

Meanwhile, President of the Walk of Fame Foundation Federico Moreno congratulates the inductees this year who made an invaluable contribution in their respective fields. “To be inducted in the Walk of Fame, you have really reached that epitome of success. It’s all about how you made an impact on the industry. So, congratulations to all the inductees this year.”

“The Walk of Fame Foundation of our beloved Kuya Germs is our own way of continuing his legacy and this is one of the best contribution my family and close friends of my father can contribute to the Philippine Entertainment Industry,” he added.
