Spa Riviera launches Gugma Card and Turista Massage

Spa Riviera, the pioneer spa and wellness center in Iloilo is celebrating 15 years of continued success and innovation this October, which is timely because October is also Wellness Month.
As a token of Spa Riviera’s love (gugma) for its clientele, it has launched its “Gugma Card” which comes with free add-ons and special price discounts. “Gugma Card will be given to the first 200 who will avail of our two signature Ilonggo services - Gayuma Package and Gayuma Experience in any of our 3 branches. Every month, we will have special free add-ons. The card is valid for one year,” said Anna Marie Rivera-Wharton, chief executive officer of Spa Riviera.
Gayuma Package is a two-hour luxurious pampering that includes a hot stone massage and a choice between an organic facial and a body scrub. Meanwhile, Gayuma Experience is a three-hour uniquely relaxing experience that includes sauna, foot massage, hot stone massage and Barako Body Scrub.  A hot stone massage promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress and improves blood flow. With Barako Body Scrub, delight in the smell and feel of coffee granules on your skin, because body scrubbing helps revitalize your skin cells.
Spa Riviera is every tourist’s getaway after a day of touring the beautiful sights of Iloilo. So, this October, they will launch another unique service – Turista Massage.“Tourists feel tired at the end of the day. Most of the time, more pressure is felt on the back and legs. Turista Massage will address it,” Wharton said.

Turista Massage is a one-hour massage service wherein Spa Riviera’s trained therapist applies special strokes and techniques that will ease away the tiredness and tightness on your back and leg muscles. Prior to that, you will be pampered with a hot footbath that is infused with sea salt and herbs. Sea salt is an organic salt that helps relieve body fatigue and muscle cramps in addition to its good exfoliating features. Meanwhile, herbs have antioxidants and rich in anti-inflammatory benefits that will restore your skin to health after you have exposed it to sun, wind and dirt while travelling.

“Turista Massage is not only for tourists but for everyone,” Wharton said.

From simple beanbags to a small treatment space during its first year of operations, Spa Riviera at 15 years, has now grown in terms of its facilities, space, expertise, personal touch and services. Spa Riviera’s other services include body massage (Swedish, Shiatsu and Combination), chair massage (back), Asian foot massage, Mandi Susu facial, Body scrub (Java),manicure and pedicure, among others.

“We continue to innovate for our clients. We also offer value for money services for Ilonggos who are conscious about their budget,” Wharton said.

Spa Riviera’s main branch is at Jabez Building, Gen. Luna Street, Iloilo City. Their other branches are in Mandurriao and Jaro and they will open more branches in Bacolod City and Roxas City.

GCash cautions against gambling apps used for phishing
